Hello/Bonjour! I'm Marlene, the Founder and Director of Salt & Sea Living. As a mother of two, I come from France and spent my formative years in the South East, close to the Mediterranean. The beach was an integral part of my childhood and the essence of salt and sea flows through my veins.

In 2008, I embarked on a journey that led me to Australia, and it didn't take long for me to fall head over heels for the vibrant landscapes after a few trips along the East coast. The breathtaking ocean vistas, boundless skies, and carefree spirit of this land have always fascinated me. It's truly a remarkable combination to be immersed in.

As a commercial furniture expert with a profound passion for nature, design, and photography, one of my greatest joys is exploring coastal beaches with my family, delving into their wonders, and capturing their natural patterns through my lens.

Yearning to recreate that earthy ambiance within the confines of home, I envisioned a range of furniture and accessories that exude this unique style.
